Sorry I do not understand your question....

It seems to refer to electron capture, where a proton in the nucleus 
captures an electron in orbit  outside the nucleus and turns into a 
neutron plus an antineutrino.  The lifetime can be related to Heisenberg's 
uncertainty principle.  Other than this, I have no idea what you meant to 
ask.
