Subject: Why does the medical field not use energy functions as a solution to illnes

I have been looking up more and more about energy levels of the body and how 
they can affect our daily lives. I have come to believe that our sickness, 
disease or any health issues are not more so a problem of taking the right meds 
to help but more so increasing and the balancing of energy in our bodies. This 
seems to be something that works and cures sickness and it bothers me to hear 
how it works and our medical field does not even use or sometimes acknowledge
