MadSci Network: Medicine |
Your question goes to the core of the scientific method. If you want to explain some natural process or phenomenon or disease you have to come up with an explanation, or hypothesis, using measurable units and predictable results.
You seem to be convinced that these "energy levels" exist in the human body. How are they measured? Who measured them? How do they affect health? How can you "balance" something nobody has ever measured? Has anyone proposed any mechanism by which they work?
If it can't be measured or studied using the scientific method it's not science.
I would challenge you to show me one example of "balancing an energy level" being used to cure or help a disease.
I would also encourage you to check out quackwatch.org to learn more about quackery in medicine.
