I actually have 3 questions to ask on this. If 2 mercury thermometers are
identical in every aspect except that one of the thermometer has a larger bulb
than the other,(a)which one will give a larger range of temperature? For this, I
am totally lost.(b)which one will indicate more quickly a small rise in
temperature? Is it the one with a smaller bulb??(c)if the thermometers are
replaced with alcohol filled thermometers, will answers in (a) and (b) be the
same?I believe it may be the same? I would really like to know the reasons
behind these questions. Please enlighten me on these. Hope to hear from you
soon. Thank you.Have a nice day.
