Jeff,

There is one UV sensitive material that most every household carries- laundry detergent. Most laundry detergents contain "optical brighteners" (try Googling this) which are chemicals that fluoresce in the sunlight. This ingredient "makes whites whiter" and should glow when you shine UV light on it in a dark room.
