I am currently doing an experiement/project where we want to use paper and then spray some 'magic solution' on it such that the paper changes colour. Will the paper turn pink if baking soda solution is sprayed onto paper and dried, then phenolphthalein is sprayed onto it? Also what are some alternatives? Like I have heard of red cabbage juice etc, but the experiment that we are trying to do should be a reversable reaction. Thanks!
