Message:
An arc lamp sits in the middle of a steel box. A 30000V pulse 1usec
wide is applied to start the lamp. What kind of currents may I expect
will be induced in the steel box due to this start pulse?
I only need an order-of-magnitude answer,
so make any simplifications you need. This is not a hypothetical
question.
This is a fair description of a medical product we are about to
introduce. Thanks for any help you can offer.
