Why does the stomach of a fetal pig have solid matter in it if it is
getting all of its nutrients from its mother? We were dissecting fetal
pigs today in Science, and one of the conclusion question was this
question, and our teacher won't help us a bit, and I have looked for
several hours without finding anything. We cut open the stomach, and
there was a substance that was composed of greenish balls that looked
sort of like algae, that were in a sort of clear gel. I would
appreciate any help you could give me immensely. Also, I would
appreciate a very quick answer, because my deadline is tommorow.
