I have been looking into this area for days now and I know that at high temperatures the differential permability of cell membranes cna be destroyed- the membranes are still present but behave as if holes have been punched through them.. I just don't seem to understand howwhat effect temperature has on the lipid bi-layer or on the proteins to cause this puncured effect. Is there any way anyone could possibly help? Much Thanks
Re: What is the effect of temperature on membrane integrity?
