pUc18 plasmid was digested with the with the restriction enzyme Taq1. Following agarose gel electrophoresis (0.7% gel)only 12 fragments were seen, however the expected number of fragements after this reaction should of been 14. Where are the other 2 fragments? and is there any way they could be detected? I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the concentration of the gel or the size of the missing fragments.
