Does the coil in the primary coil of a transformer loses some current when
it's magnetic field induces current in the secondary coil? I was reading
about transformers and it said that the magnetic field generated by the
current transfers energy to the secondary coil. First of all, I was
wondering what is this energy that is being transfered. And secondly, I
was wondering if the primary coil loses some electrical energy (current).

Thank you.
