The reason I am asking is because I am doing a Science Fair project on the fourth dimension, time, and in a certain reference book I own, I came across the term 'Minkowski metric' while looking under 'four-dimensional continuum.' It says 'Minkowski metric' might be referred to as a metric tensor. I know this isn't at all in my grade level, but I don't have another subject idea, and would like to learn about the subject anyway. If you could provide any information about the metric tensor or the fourth dimension, please reply.
