I would like to know how does the density of different fluids (water,
oil, air) heated by an electric resistance affect the desing of the
electric resistance. For example, if an electric resistance is used in
water and I want to obtain 100 watts, should I design my electric
resistance with the same characteristics than one used in air or in oil?
Where in the design of an electric resistance should I consider the
density of the material being heated by the electric resistance. Thank you
