I have heard that some people inherit an extra tendon in the wrist/hand area.
Supposedly, by touching the tips of the pinky and thumb together than bending
the wrist forward an extra tendon can be seen(running from the thumb across the
center of the wrist) in some people. What is this tendon called? What is the
rate of occurrence in the population? both hands? one hand? right vs left
percentages?
