There is no plate tectonics on Venus, but instead a phenomenon called coronae.
They are considered to be the surface manifestation of mantle diapir activity.
If a human base would have been built underground on Venus, would it be in 
jeopardy from rising diapirs.
Also how fast does diapirs rise, would there be early warnings?

Would be very thankful for an answer, because i think we should colonize Venus
instead of Mars despite it's hostile environment mainly because of the gravity 
similarites.
