I want to know why leaves sink in the snow. I was walking outside and I saw a
leaf that had fallen and was sitting on top of the snow. A few days later that
same leaf had sunk about and inch into the snow. Does have somthing to do with
the leaf absorbing the sunlight and melting into the snow? Or is it a weight
thing? Or maybe both?
