If material is being drawn into a gravity well, a Black Hole, and this well has
sides or edges that can be defined and called an event horizon, then it stands
to accept the notion that the phenomenon is moving and moving in the direction
of the material's former location. A PacMan gobbling up its dots.
A F/X man on the old series, STAR TREK created a 'planet crusher' looking like
a cornucopia shaped device of immense size, chomping its way through star
system after system.
 A PacMan. Same idea.
