Message:
Genetic anticipation, or trinucleotide repeat expansion, tend to occur with
such genetic disorders as Huntington's Disease, Friedrich's ataxiz, and myotonic
dystrophy. This tendency causes the early onset of such diseases and causes
them to be more severe. Why does this occur? Has there been any research that
trys to reverse this process? Were they successful?
Thanks
