In the Montessori curriculum we do a major lesson on the Big Bang, but I wonder if our information is correct. We always speak of the Big Bang as producing an incredible light and noise. But I'm unclear if sound waves were produced. For soundwaves to exist don't they have to move through matter. If that's the case, isn't the matter from the hydrogen and helium nuclei that formed during the first 3 minutes sufficient?
