Broccoflower is a hybrid between broccoli and cauliflower. According to one
website, it was developed in 1988 in the Netherlands. Broccoflower is a
trademark of Tanimura and Antle, a California vegetable producer. If you contact
them, you may be able to get more details on its origin.

There are many websites that mention broccoflower but they provide few details
on its origin.

I'm not aware of any health problems from broccoflower. It supposedly has a
higher vitamin content than either cauliflower and broccoli.
