Subject: I'm doing a project on Diffusion with a dialysis tube...

I have to give the diffusion of solutes and osmosis of water through a 
selectivly permeable membrane. I have to also decide what i will fill a test 
tube (tt) with and decide what i will fill with the dialysis tube with. AND i 
have to see evidence of solute/sovent movement from high to low concentration. 
My materials are hot plate, graduated cylinder, tt's, iodine solution, 
benedict's solution, dialysis tube, string, corn syrup, corn starch, tube 
holder, tube rack, wide range PH paper, siccors, funnel, balance, and a ruler. 
What the heck am i suppose to do??? I'm asking because i'm totally lost and so 
confussed! I'm expected to make a hypothesis, predictions, and write 
procedures, but here's the catch: He didn't tell us anything about the lab! So 
my group and I don't know what to do in our lab!!! HELP!!
