I am a medical transcriptionist. I stored some microcassette tapes in my
purse pocket which has a magnetic flap and now the tapes are damaged. The
audio fluctuates between loud and soft. Is there anyway to still retrieve the
information from this tape by "fixing it" somehow?

I just read your article about magnets and tapes and figured out how this
happened. I hope you can help me, as there are three damaged tapes and they
contain a lot of information.
