I am currently doing my A2 investigation on how the pH of saliva affects the
growth of the naturally ocurring flora in agar plates with that saliva. For my
discussion, we need to go a bit beyond the A2 level and thus I'll have to
explain how the acidic and alkaline environments affect the bacteria, in details
greater than just saying the 'wrong' pH denatures the bacteria. I hope that you
can help me because I have been told you guys are amazing... super-knowledgable!
THANKS
