according to de Broglie moving body behave as though it has a wave nature (for small size particles only, like electron). these phenomenon can be shown in electron diffraction and electron interference. question is that wave requires a medium to move energy from one location to another. (like sound wave cannot pass through Vacuum). then can matter waves also require a medium to move or they are just like electromagnetic waves like light which does not require a medium?
