If the Big Bang theory is correct it must have been necessary to prove the 
steady state theory incorrect. What signs were looked for and how were 
they disproved?  I would expect rotating galaxies to have effected gravity 
on earth and wonder if the extinctions at regular intervals might be a 
result of this
