in my biology book they explain alternation of generation, but im still very 
confused. the book shows a nonvascular plant cycle and a vascular plant cycle.  
I understand the type of plants, but what are is the difference between the 
cycles?  Why does meiosis happen three times?  thanks, and i hope you can 
help.  I really appreciate you volunteering your time to do this.
