Everyone (I hope) knows that you shouldn't have appliances near your bath tub: if it falls in, you could be electrocuted. I don't understand, though, why the current doesn't just go from the dunked appliance straight to the drain, which is the only good electrical ground. Why does it branch out to affect your body?
