Previous message quoted below. I searched your pages, and it only gave me a reference to a book which is unavailable in Canada...any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I recall seeing a 700 club episode a few years back (insomnia was the reason, to be honest =)with a short segment which showed how to deposit silver onto a surface by use of a mixture fo a few common household chemicals...which I can't recall. Now I've got a couple kids to entertain, and I'd like to show them that science IS cool, and it's NOT all pocket-protectors and computers and guys named Melvin with horn-rimmed glasses with tape in the middle... =) I have searched for quite a while before I found your site, and I hope that I might be able to get some assistance in exactly what chemicals or compounds I would need in order to, basically, make a mirror at home. Thanks in advance!
