I have rectently written in asking about how a formula for the
frequncies on ocataves, and the different notes. My question was
answered very clearly, but as always, when one quetion is answered, at
least two more are made. What other parts of a sound wave corespond
with formulas in mathmatics. Is there any corralation between the
curviture of a wave, and the equasion "y=ax^2+bx+c"? If not what
equasion do we use? All transvesal waves d pass the "Veritcal Line
Test" I learned in Algerbra I, so it has to be a function, the only
question is , what is the equasion.
