Hello Sirs,
My brother is doing a school project on physics and sports. He
decided to do it on ski jumping. Just doing the research on what ski
jumping has to do with physics. Well you have
gravity,friction,force,velocity,distance,etc. Let's see could you
give me some references on where I could find pictures, equations, how
say like, "When you point your toes at a 45 deg. rotation on the x-
axis you gain a distance of 5 feet", for example. Or another example
is how long is a ski jump. What is the diameter or radius of the
bottom of a ski slope? I would appriciate any help thanks.
