In the 10/00 PS issue, "FYI" section, a question about sounds of thunder 
was asked, and answered as 'heat causes the air around the lightning to 
expand very quickly", so it creates a vacuum.  What are the properties of 
this vacuum; like a black hole? Or temporary at best?
