HI,
This the first time i have ever seriously tried making a rocket .
I happen to have sodium nitrate and want to make candy propellent from
it i.e. as you know potassium nitrate +sugar.I seem to be having trouble
with the correct concentration of the materials. As i live in India it
was very difficult to obtain even these simple chemical so dont expect
much out of me for rocket building material .I only have cardboard rolls
to act as containers in which i put the fuel mixture and ignite it.I
want to know how to make those solid rocket fuel engines we get in the
market and how exactly should one put in the fuel ,how it is made hard
and compact , why do we make a hole in the middle . I have been
desperately trying to make the rocket and already half my chemical
supply is over so reply soon before i finish it.I would appreaciate any
help.
