There is absolutely no scientific basis for this old wives tale!  Milk 
goes sour because of the growth of lactic acid bacteria... and lactic acid 
bacteria are unaffected by thunderstorms, as far as I know.

Now, if the thunderstorm knocked out the power to the refrigerator, and 
the milk heated up, and the bacteria grew faster, then that would make 
good scientific sense!
