As a Scoutmaster, I use road flares in my campfire program...the flares are used to ignite the tinder ect..the impact of lighting a fire remotely using rocket engine igniters to light the flares grows less with each use because I cannot find any different colored flares, only the red safety ones seem to be available. Can I make my own safely and cost effectively and if so how, and where would I purchase the chemicals and obtain mixing instructions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
