I was wondering if there are any species of ants which are strictly
nocturnal. Or do most species of ants remain active thorughout all periods
of the day. I saw a previously answered question stating thats ants may
rest, but does this resting period follow predictable intervals where the
colony as a whole rests or is it just on an individual basis.
Or perhaps there is an advantage for some species to just come out at night.
any help would be appreciated. thanks!
