Adult penguins are eaten by large, aquatic carnivores that live in the
southern hemisphere (because that's where penguins live). The two major
types of predators that fit this description are the leopard seal and the
orca (killer whale). However, the predators that prey on penguins will vary
with the species of penguin, as some penguins are somewhat small (1.5 to 2
feet tall) while the emperor penguin can be more than 3 feet tall. There
are also predators, such as the skua (a predatory seabird similar to a
large brown gull), which will take penguin chicks if they can.

Penguins on the other side eat fish. Mainly not large predatory fish but smaller
fish that again feed on krill and algae.
