The scientific name for a Golden Eagle, Aquila chrysaetos (AK-qui-lah kris-AY-ee-tos), is
derived from the Latin words "aquila" meaning eagle, and the Greek words "chrysos" meaning golden and "aetos" meaning 
eagle.
