A question like that can't be answered in any certainty, because there isn't a lot of evidence. Sharks are often pretty rough with their meals, and dispatch them before swallowing (Great White sharks, for instance, bite their prey and wait for it to bleed to death before swallowing it).
To speculate a bit, if an animal (human or otherwise) were swallowed by a shark, it would presumably suffocate in the shark's stomach. Escape would be pretty unlikely, digestive systems are very good at keeping things in.
