I have not personallu witnessed the consumption of crows eating dead crows.
This however does not mean it doesn't happen. Crows are carrion eaters and
opportunists. They will feed on dead carcasses as well as rob the nests of
birds or small mammals, flying off with live young.
I am in the process of a 4 year research project studying the Crow and
his/her family structure. If while I am out in the field I come across a
crow feeding on a dead crow, I will let you know!

I am not saying that they don't do this. If one is hungry enough I am sure
they take the opportunity when a meal presents itself.

I do know that some case studies have observed crows mourning their dead.
They will stand around the body and poke at it to get it to move. Then
they have been observed flying off and leaving the body. This was from a
book titled: The American Crow and Common Raven by Lawrence Kilham.

Hope this helps some!
