Where to start? Aluminum or aluminium is used in a very wide range of products, from soda cans and foil, to fan blades and fasteners, to cars, buildings and airplanes. There is no way I can list even one hundredth of its uses.

Also, I am not sure what information you need about aluminum... so here are a few sources that might be of interest - you can pick out what you want:

The Aluminum Company of America's definition (also check their history section)
The Aluminum Association
NIST's Chemistry Webbook
And you can do a quick search for aluminum through any search engine (Google, Yahoo, etc.)
