A lobster has 100 chromosomes.

By contrast, you and I each have 46 chromosomes...the same as a lizard. A dog
has 78 chromosomes. a fly has 12 chromosomes. The point of this comparison is
that the number of chromosomes doesn't seem to show a clear correlation to the
degree of intelligence or where you might place the species in the
evolutionary scheme.
