I am a freshman at Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa. I am working
on a project for my biology class and I was hoping to tell you about what I am
planning to do and to find out if you had any ideas that I would find helpful.
I also need to know if this project is going to work out, or if it is in some
way flawed.
My project is a study of territoriality in mice. I would like to get four
domesticated mice from a pet store and three cages. In one cage I will put two
mice which will be my control group, and the other two will be separated.
After some period of time I will put the two mice that had been separated into
one cage and observe their behavior. I also thought it would be a good idea to
put one of the quarantined mice in a cage with one of those that had been kept
separate and again observe their behavior.
If you could give me any feedback on the subject I would greatly appreciate
it.
