I'm doing an expirement on how bean plants grow. I have tried sugar water, 
lemon juice mixed with water, and both mixed together (lemon juice and sugar).
so far, the lemon juice has fungi and the sugar has not sprouted yet. The mix 
of both has not sprouted either. Why?
