Dear Sir/Madam, Good day to you. I am dying to know why insects hover above trees in the evening? From what I know, trees respire and give out heat to the surroundings. So is it the main reason why insects hover above trees to get some warmth from them? Do trees also trap heat from the sun during daytime and release it at night? Do the trees release heat at a faster rate to the surroundings during evening time compared to other objects around, therefore the insects hover above the trees instead of going to other objects? Kindly get back to me on this, please. Thank you very much and have a nice day.
