What is the correct procedure to electroplate
copper to a piece of molded lead?
We purchased a 5 gallon fish tank, filled it with distilled water. We
purchased a 12 volt battery.
We then hung a pure piece of copper in the water and attached the positive
wire
from the battery to the copper....on another coated wire we hung the molded
piece of lead which we attached negative current to from the battery. We
added
99 percent
pure copper sulphate to the water.
What else should we have done?
Please reply as soon as possible.
Thank You.
