MadSci Network: Anatomy |
Many years ago, when I was an undergrad student working on my Psych degree, I remember hearing about, and perhaps seeing photos that told about the underlying causes for the development of spoon shaped finger tips in both children and adults. As I can best recall, the nail bed could be found to be either flat, or concave. In either case the end of each finger was noticeably wider than the remainder of the finger shaft. It's driving me nuts trying to rember what this condition is called. And what causes it. It is obviousely rare, as I have only seen this condition on one occasion during the past 15 years. Thanx, D.B Docker
