Hi,
The full question indicated you wished to be
zookeeper; so I will aim for that answer.

This is an admirable way to work with animals
and earn a living! I would of course recommend
my own college first; but generally, any college
with a good undergraduate degree would work. More
importantly, volunteer at your local zoo. This
will give you the inside view of the work and
a clear picture of what you need to know.

I found the following Web pages on becoming
a zookeeper. These go into greater depth.

http://www.zooweb.net/beakeeper.htm Obviously, zoos need many more skilled people then just "keepers". If you have the talent and desire vets, nutrition experts, even carpenters and van drivers are alternative ways of moving into the zoo field. You might also think beyond zoos, to wild animal parks, aquarium work, etc. Good luck. David
