	Cuthbert, it is no great surprise that you cannot find the information on search engines. 
Chemistry is not a subject about millions of facts that you have to learn or memorize or look up 
on the web, it is a subject about methods and principles and patterns.

In your chemistry you should have learnt about valence shell electrons, and how atoms share 
electrons in covalent bonds so that (as far as possible) each atom has a share in exactly 8 valence 
electrons.

So to find out about the bonding in COCl2, you do not try to look it up on the web. You think 
about how many valence electrons a carbon atom has, how many an oxygen atom has, and how 
many a chlorine atom has.

You then have to think about how these atoms can arrange themselves so that each one gets a 
share in exactly 8 valence electrons.

The problem is more like a jigsaw puzzle than an internet search.
