Subject: What ever happened to Martha Chase?

There has been plenty of information provided regarding the experiments 
conducted by Hershey and Chase.  There is also a plentiful amount of 
informtaion on what has happened to Hershey, however, there does not appear to 
be ANY information about poor old Martha.  She must have died, right?  But how 
and by what?  Since the beginning of the year, our A.P. Biology class has been 
wondering what happened to Martha.  We can't seem to discover the answer 
anywhere, and thus I'am turning to you in hopes to put an end to this mystery.  
Can you please help me??  Thank you for your time, it is greatly appreciated.
