A few years ago, a blow to back of head resulted in a
most interesting experience. 5 minutes after impact, I noticed my
eyesight was affected; an area in my field of vision in which
printed words became unintelligible to me... I was unable to read
words in a specific area of my field of vision, but capable of
reading text outside this field.
En route to hospital, I noticed the area was pie-shaped and
swivelled around point located directly in centre of vision...
like sweep area of a radar scope. Text or print within this area
became unrecognizable (what I assume dyslexia might be like).
This area rotated very slowly and I estimate a complete 360
degree turn in approximately one hour. After which my vision
returned to normal.
   Can this be explained?
